Casient Keystone

A small unit in your rack.

It sits between your KNX system and everything else. It runs the house locally, keeps a log of every decision, replaces no KNX device and favours no brand. Your wall switches always have the final say.

01How it thinks

It looks after the details. You stay in charge.

Casient watches the weather, the price of power and who is home, and adjusts the house to suit. An AI-supported system does the working-out. You get plain English, not settings.

01It plans ahead.

Blinds can close before a hot afternoon. The house can cool while power is cheap. A dishwasher can wait for cheaper hours, where the appliance allows.

02It asks only when it has to.

Anything new is explained in plain words and waits for your yes. If it cannot settle a conflict, it asks. It does not keep asking, and it remembers what you said last time.

03It keeps going.

Safety and the basics stay on the KNX bus. If the internet drops, the house carries on. Only chat and remote access pause.

Today, your installer uses the assistant to set changes up. Asking in plain words yourself is coming.

03Looked after

It fits around your life, never the other way round.

Good automation is something you stop noticing. Monitoring and support are built into Casient, so the house doesn't let you down on the night you have people over. You live as you always have, and the house keeps up.

Monitored · illustrative
Updates tested first

Checked on real homes before your installer rolls them out.

Monitored, quietly

Problems are caught and fixed before you notice them. Your installer can only look in when you allow it.

Private by design

The house runs in the house.

Never frozen

It understands rooms, not just switches. Ask for changes in plain words.

Three levels of looking after it.

Level 1The KNX busMonitored

Rock solid. This is the wiring in your walls: lights, blinds, heating and scenes. It works without the internet, and Casient monitors it.

Level 2Core connectionsMonitored once certified

Solar and battery, air conditioning, music, EV charging, weather. Once a connection is certified, it is monitored too. Until then it is best efforts.

Level 3Everything elseBest efforts, no guarantee

Appliances, TVs, garden systems and other products. Your integrator can connect many of them, but they depend on each maker's own software and on your network, so Casient cannot promise how they will behave. Best efforts, with no guarantee.

Connections to other makers' products rely on those makers and on your home network. Fixes to them, and network changes made by anyone else, are quoted separately by your integrator.

05Questions

Questions owners ask.

Does it work without the internet?

Yes. The KNX bus and Casient keep running. Only chat and remote access pause until the connection returns.

Can I overrule it?

Always. Anything you press at the wall happens, every time, and Casient never fights it. If you change what Casient did, it takes the hint and backs off.

What happens to my data?

What happens in your house stays in your house. Casient monitors the unit to make sure it keeps working. It does not monitor your household. The detail is on the privacy and control page.

What if my integrator leaves, or Casient disappears?

Your KNX keeps working without Casient. Safety logic stays on the bus, and your project file is yours.

What do I have to do day to day?

Nothing. Switches and apps work as before. You will only hear from it when it needs your yes.
